Training programme

A dedicated training programme supports the research. Candidates will learn through a series of workshops about all aspects of single junction solar cells, as well as semiconductor growth, and characterization. By the end of the second year advanced photovoltaic concepts will be introduced by international experts. In addition, soft skill courses on topics such as ethics, presenting, and writing will be given, within the framework of the Doctoral School in Science and Engineering. It is further expected that the candidates will organize an international workshop, and participate in public outreach.

After four years of training, you will have written scientific articles, presented at international conferences, have experieneced industry and other international environments, and will of course hopefully receive a doctoral title. All of this will prepare you for your future career and make you desirable to new employers.
